Every parent wants their child to grow up healthy and strong. Vaccines (protective injections and polio drops) help protect babies from serious diseases. In Pakistan, these vaccines are provided free of cost at government hospitals and Basic Health Units (BHUs).
The best protection is to get every vaccine on time.

BCG (Protection from Tuberculosis – TB)
Polio Drops (OPV-0)
👶 At 6 Weeks (1½ Months)
Pentavalent Vaccine
Pneumonia Vaccine (PCV)

Rotavirus Vaccine (Diarrhea Protection)
👶 At 10 Weeks (2½ Months)
Second dose of all the above vaccines.

🚨 Don't Miss Polio Campaigns
Whenever a Polio Team visits your area or a National Polio Campaign is announced, always give your child the Polio Drops, even if all routine vaccines have already been completed.
Extra polio drops provide additional protection.
❤️ Why Are Vaccines Important?
Vaccines protect your child from dangerous diseases such as:
Polio
Tuberculosis (TB)
Measles (Kasra)

✅ Tips for Parents
Keep your baby's vaccination card safe.
Visit the vaccination center on the scheduled date.
If you miss a vaccine, get it as soon as possible.
Mild fever or swelling after vaccination is normal and usually goes away within 1–2 days.
Continue breastfeeding and give your baby plenty of fluids after vaccination.
⚠️ When Should You Visit a Doctor?
Take your baby to a doctor immediately if after vaccination your baby has:
High fever that does not improve
Difficulty breathing
Continuous crying for several hours
Fits (Seizures)
Severe swelling or allergic reaction
These reactions are rare but need immediate medical attention.
